Fay Gershgorin

Fay Gershgorin, OT Reg. (Ont.) is a registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and the National Association of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) qualified to practice in Ontario and USA. Fay is a member of The Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). She has attained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Barry University in Miami, Florida and a Master’s of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
Fay first practiced within within the clinical settings, amassing experiences in orthopedic, neurology, and mental health via administering assessments and treatments accordingly. She has treated children and adults in the community and school settings.
Fay is currently focused on assessing and treating primarily individuals who have sustained functional deficits of catastrophic/noncatastrophic nature from MVA-related traumatic brain injury, personal injury cases, Orthopaedic and/or Psychosocial injuries; to address their day-to-day needs and facilitate functional improvement through client-centered Occupational Therapy, community based rehabilitation and advocacy.
Fay also provides Occupational Therapy consultations to corporations addressing workplace mental health & wellness programs to support employees' mental health, improve performance, productivity and morale, & reduce absenteeism.
Fay is passionate about assisting clients with reaching their potential to live meaningful lives, and has always enjoyed working with individuals of various ages & abilities. Fay enjoys working in the community setting and always strives to help others achieve their goals for functional independence.
In her spare time, Fay enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, pilates, outdoor activities, travelling and spending time with friends & family. Fay has always been an active volunteer in her community, dedicating free time to a number of programs and organizations.
